Habitat Birmingham brings families and community partners together to build quality, affordable housing.
Apply for a Home

Prospective homeowners are evaluated using three criteria:
            

  • Need for quality, affordable housing
                
  • Willingness to partner with Habitat Birmingham
                    (minimum 300 sweat equity hours and 10 hours of homeowner education classes)
                
  • Ability to repay a zero percent interest mortgage

    Please review our homeownership manual . If you think you may qualify for Habitat Birmingham's housing program please schedule to attend an Application Orientation Workshop by calling 205-780-1234. Applications are only distributed at Application Orientation Workshops. You must register in advance to attend.
