Women Build 2017

In partnership with Lowe's and Habitat for Humanity

Women Build is a one-day, world-wide building event designed to recruit, educate, and encourage women to build and advocate for affordable, quality housing. Birmingham is one of 300 U.S. locations participating in this year's event.

No construction skills or tools needed. Enjoy a fun Women's Day Out. Bring your neighbor, mom, daughter, sister, friends.

Participants must be14 years old or older on build day

About Habitat Birmingham

Established in 1987, Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry serving Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Walker Counties. The organization is dedicated to making quality, affordable housing solutions available to low-income families. To date, Habitat Birmingham has provided over 675 families with the opportunity of homeownership through zero percent interest mortgages on newly built or rehabilitated homes and aided over 600 households with critical home repairs, totaling more than 1,275 families served in the Greater Birmingham area.
