The Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project was a success! Monday, October 4th - World Habitat Day - kicked off a week of building, rehabilitating and repairing homes as part of a worldwide effort to highlight the need for stable communities and healthy housing. By Friday, October 8th, 28 families had improved living conditions.

Goals accomplished include:
• Completed ten houses through ground-up new construction builds.
• Rehabilitated eight houses in Greater Birmingham area neighborhoods as part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Project.
• Repaired ten homes in Fairfield as part of our A Brush With Kindness program.
