Habitat Birmingham just launched a new group to recognize and better utilize some of our most regular volunteers: The Go-To Gang. These individuals have committed to consistent volunteerism throughout the year, as well as let us know what they most like to do so that we can more effectively use their services and time.
We have also identified groups for weekday tasks to help catch-up progress on construction projects. Additionally, members of The Go-To Gang are being recruited to help lead others less experienced volunteers on site .

Members of The Go-To Gang are expected to contribute a minimum of 75 hours of service to Habitat Birmingham annually, helping us provide quality affordable housing opportunities to individuals and families in need.
Our next 2010 Go-To Gang get-togethers are scheduled for Thursdays, May 13, August 12, and November 11 at 8 am. The location will be determined by our construction schedule.
