Habitat Birmingham's Home Repair Program is a great way to inspire and engage others to take action in revitalizing communities. The Program is designed to allow current homeowners to continue to live independently and preserve their home for years to come. Services offered may include painting, landscaping, weatherization, accessibility modifications, and other minor repairs.
How does it work?
Am I eligible?
Applicants must own their
home and meet the following criteria to be eligible for this program:
to pay (costs are based on a percentage of household income and project scope)
o proof of income of each occupant living
in the home required
§ recent W2
§ recent pay stubs
§ social security
o proof of homeownership required
§ copy of house deed
§ current tax record
by ability, disability, age, illness
o sweat equity is based on ability and
