Home Repair Information
What repairs are offered?
A Brush With Kindness focuses on exterior house painting and handicap accessibility modifications.
How to apply:
Due to the number of applicants currently on our waiting list, Habitat Birmingham is currently not accepting new applications for our A Brush with Kindness program. Our goal is to complete repairs for our currently approved applicants. We plan to hold an application workshop for our repair program over the summer. Information on the workshop will be posted to this site when it is available. Please check back periodically, or contact our office in July.
Who does the repair work?
A Brush With Kindness repairs are supervised by Habitat Birmingham construction staff members. We also enlist the help of willing volunteers to assist in the repairs. For information on how to become a volunteer, call Julie at 780-1234 or email jhoward@habitatbirmingham.org
If you have further questions, please contact our office via email.
